The history
From two historic yarn companies to a vertically integrated dyehouse.
Nyfil begins by taking over two historic nylon companies: Bonomi Evaristo e Figli of Ospitaletto (BS) and Torcitura Quarenghi. It inherits their technical expertise, keeps their quality standards, and adds services and speed.
The company moves to its current site in Via dell'Artigianato. The move happens in stages: winding first, then the in-house dyehouse, then twisting.
The machinery is renewed. More advanced technology in both winding and twisting. Capacity and process repeatability both increase.
Demand grows. Nyfil doubles its production capacity to absorb rising orders from Italian and foreign markets.
New dyeing machinery enters production. We replace the older lines and increase overall capacity. More volume, the same precision.
A second investment cycle in five years. Every dyeing machine is now latest-generation. Production capacity has doubled since the start of the decade.
An ongoing investment in automating and digitalising the production flow. The aim: shorter set-up times, greater colour repeatability, less repetitive manual work.
What we do well
Three operating assets that make the difference in a dyehouse.
In-house dyehouse
Dyed in-house, across 3,500 m² of vertically integrated plant. Winding, twisting and dyeing under one roof. No third-party steps, no loss of control over colour.
Made to measure, delivered from stock
We develop dedicated recipes or work from the colour card. Sample lead time 3-5 days, with colour reproduction guaranteed on later orders thanks to the documented recipe.
The technical legacy of two historic companies
The expertise predates 2008: Bonomi Evaristo and Torcitura Quarenghi were reference points in the Italian nylon yarn sector. That know-how lives on inside Nyfil today.
Certificazioni

Part of Tonoli Group
A story of Italian dyeing, told by two complementary companies.
Nyfil is part of Tonoli Group alongside Tintoria Tonoli, the sister company specialising in commission dyeing of yarns and fabrics. Two distinct skill sets, one technical supply chain, the same commitment to colour quality.
